need R&D for pusling 

3. synergy beta beam and superbeam is very nice/valuable.

4. physics parameters: 
  best gamma for beta beam is around 70. 
  what is the necessary duty cycle 
  
5. low energy beta beam at short distances (only way to do nu-e cross-sections in 50 MeV domain)

6. indeed the CERN site with the frjus tunel is a good fit. 



Bouchez what about the possibility of having both  beams in the storage ring
if this si not a compromise. 

to do list:

1. what is the cost of just the beta beam
2. what is the cost of just the SPL. 

remark from ALEKSAN it is important to have SPL anyhow.
