Subject: Weekly Group Meeting Date: Mon, 6 Jan 2003 17:09:53 +0100 (CET) From: Friedrich DYDAK To: ps-proj-hadroprod@listbox.cern.ch Dear colleagues: First of all, I wish you a happy and successful New Year! Permit me please to share a thought with you. I believe that it was a mistake to stop the weekly HARP group meeting at CERN at the end of data taking. From discussions with several of you I know that others have similar feelings: it is important to retain an atmosphere of belonging together, to work together, to share progress and successes as well as concerns and failures in much the same way as we did during data taking. The best way I know is an informal group meeting, with the familiar coordinates: Tuesday 14.30 h, conf. room 304/1-001A. The meeting is meant to be informal: in general no prepared talks (although they are possible if requested or proposed); rather, whoever wants tells what he/she is is doing. Maybe we should organize coffee? J.J.Gomez Cadenas' Analysis Meetings have priority. The above weekly group meeting takes place only when no Analysis Meeting is scheduled. Let's start all over again on Tuesday 7 January at 14.30 h. Yours sincerely, Friedrich
